Contactless Debit Cards Are Here

We've upgraded our debit cards to new contactless debit cards!

We are excited to offer contactless debit cards to our members, and you should have received your card by now in the mail.

With your new contactless debit card, you'll enjoy the same convenience you've come to enjoy with your old card, like access to more than 80,000 free ATMs nationwide through the Allpoint® and CO-OP® ATM networks.  And, you'll be able to pay for purchases at the millions of locations world-wide where VISA is accepted - both in person and online.

When you pay for your purchases, you can either swipe (it has a magnetic strip), dip (it also has a chip), or wave your card if you are at one of the many merchants that have a contactless debit card device. Just look for the contactless payment symbol.

Here are a few reminders of the things you need to do before you can start using your new card.

  1. Activate your card and program your PIN.  Call (866) 985-2273 to activate and set up the PIN for your card. You must set the PIN.  It can be similar to the PIN of your current card or make it something completely different – the choice is yours. If you have activated your card without setting your PIN, you can still do so by calling (866) 985-2273.

If you have any trouble activating your card, please contact Cardholder Services at 866-639-9621 for assistance.

  2. Destroy your old card. You will not be able to use your old card after June 22.

  3. Update your card information, where applicable. You will need to update your card information with any creditor or merchant with whom you have set up reoccurring payments using your debit card. If you use a digital wallet app like Apple Pay®, Venmo®, Cash App®, etc., you'll need to update your card information in those applications, as well.  Please note that at this time, we are aware of an issue that is prohibiting cardholders from setting up their new card on digital wallet apps.  Our technicians are working to resolve the issue.  We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
